KpopWithUs values your privacy. This policy truthfully explains what data we collect, store, and use based on our actual code implementation.
1. Data We Collect and Store
Email Address: Provided when you subscribe to alerts or log in. Stored in the users table as your account and notification identifier.
Login Verification Codes: 6-digit codes generated when logging in. Temporarily stored in verification_codes with a 20-minute expiration.
Subscription Records: The product IDs you choose to follow, stored in subscriptions to trigger restock notifications.
Cookies & Local Storage: restock_session (session auth, HttpOnly/Secure); restock_locale (language preference); restock_currency (currency preference); restock_invite (optional referral tag).
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect names, phone numbers, physical addresses, or ID numbers; we do not store passwords; and because we have no checkout process, we never collect financial or payment details.
3. Data Usage & Third-Party Services
Data is strictly used to: 1) deliver restock alert emails you requested; 2) send login codes; 3) manage your subscriptions. Cloud email services (e.g. Tencent Cloud SES / AWS SES) are used for delivery. We never sell, rent, or use your email for marketing.
4. Data Storage & Security
Data is stored on access-controlled production servers. Sessions use secure token validation. While we implement reasonable safeguards, no internet transmission is 100% secure.
5. Your Rights: Unsubscribe & Data Deletion
You can unsubscribe from any item anytime on My Alerts (/alerts). To permanently delete your account and email data from our database, email ili0s@qq.com and we will process your deletion.
